Our Mission

Our mission at Trinity Fitness is to help our clients feel better.

We are in the ‘Feel Better’ business. That ‘feel better’ can come in different forms for different people. Some may want to improve their body composition. Others may want to decrease joint pain or movement restrictions. Still others may want to compete better.  In all of these situations, solid nutrition and a supportive exercise program are the tools needed. Our mission? To provide those tools.

Our Staff

David Scott

Co-Owner

Dave graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Kinesiology and has held certifications from the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America, the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist. In his nearly 20 years as a personal trainer he has worked with everyone from Division I athletes to men and women in their eighties. He is passionate about exercise and loves to help clients reach their fitness goals.

Katherine Scott

RD, Co-Owner

Katherine Scott earned a degree in Nutrition from Virginia Tech and completed an internship at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, Michigan before becoming registered as a dietitian. Her work in the nutrition field has focused mainly in the fitness and wellness realm. She has a holistic, ‘real life’ view of nutrition that is represented in the Eat Smart program she created and directs. In addition to nutrition she also has a great interest in exercise and has worked as a personal trainer with Dave in the past.

Dona Batten

Personal Trainer & Eat Smart Practitioner

Dona Batten became ACE certified as a personal trainer in May 2011. She is very passionate about people feeling the best that they can and loves how nutrition and exercise are keys to that goal. She also works as an Eat Smart practitioner and yoga instructor.

Shannon Gragg

Personal Trainer

Shannon first joined Trinity Fitness in 2008 as a client attending classes and personal training. After a couple of years growing under Dave’s leadership, she decided to pursue her certification as a personal trainer. She is now ACE certified and works part-­time as a personal trainer for Trinity Fitness.

Terry Morrill

Personal Trainer

Terry became a personal trainer in December 2012 and began working at Trinity soon after. He works as a back-up personal trainer.

Jackie Grabis­Bunker

Eat Smart Practitioner

Jackie spent her career in the field of education, starting as a teacher and ending as a district director. She is a published author and teaches Eat Smart classes. She also serves as an advisor for Trinity Fitness.
